Scientific research on the dog has revealed that man's best friend actually possesses amazing communication, social and cognitive skills that rival the most famous abilities of cetaceans and primates. Our group contributes to the strand of research on canine ethology that has developed over the years in various countries around the world. Our work is carried out using established ethological protocols and the development of new research methodologies. For our research we make use of owned animals, which participate in our tests together with their owners, for which we are looking for volunteers. In particular, we are interested in anyone who owns a motivated dog that has at least some training.
