Characterisation, by means of anatomical, functional and actual connectivity studies, in humans and non-human primates of brain circuits involved in the regulation of behaviour of an emotional nature, the organisation of complex motor behaviour and the high-order processing of sensory stimuli.

Techniques used |
Studies of tractography, functional connectivity (functional resting state) and effective connectivity (methodology based on cortico-cortical evoked potentials, CCEPs), carried out using both microstimulation and electrophysiological recording and functional magnetic resonance imaging studies as references. The studies also take advantage of the possibility of comparing the results obtained with a large database of data already acquired on the non-human primate from anatomical connectivity experiments based on the use of neuronal tracers.
